Position Overview
This role is essential for supporting the Information Technology and Cybersecurity sectors in areas concerning audit, compliance, and risk mitigation. The selected candidate will report directly to the Governance Director and will collaborate closely with Internal Audit, Segment Risk, and various IT and Cybersecurity teams to ensure tasks are completed on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with risk and audit teams, along with subject matter experts, to facilitate the risk assessment and remediation processes within the Technology and Cybersecurity divisions.
  • Establish robust partnerships with key technology stakeholders, Risk, Cybersecurity, and IT departments beyond the immediate team.
  • Analyze and comprehend findings within the project pipeline to assist in effective prioritization and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate communication across teams to fulfill project requirements and deliverables associated with identified findings and milestones.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop and maintain remediation strategies, tasks, and documentation pertinent to action plan milestones.
  • Assist with regulatory, audit, and compliance examinations, ensuring timely provision of necessary information.
  • Support governance and operational units with updates to policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity in tracking project plan deliverables.
  • Provide status updates and reporting to various leadership levels.
  • Organize and lead meetings as necessary.
  • May oversee initiatives and projects.

Required Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in IT Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance (GRC), information security, or auditing.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to articulate risks and IT-related concepts clearly.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with technology and business stakeholders, information security, risk, compliance, and audit teams.
  • Capability to convey complex technical solutions in business terms to various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with recognized frameworks.
  • Proactive, driven individual with a positive approach to problem-solving.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Archer or similar systems.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps or comparable agile tools.
  • Background in technical writing.
  • Experience in processing and analyzing diverse data types, including risk ratings and metrics.
  • Ability to collect, analyze, and disseminate information with precision.
  • Knowledge of control testing related to project implementation.
  • Relevant certifications (CISM, CISA, CySA+, Security+, or CRISC) are advantageous.
