Position Overview: This role supports a hybrid work model, requiring in-office attendance for a minimum of three days per week, with flexibility for remote work on other days.
Role Summary: The Technology Risk & Compliance Management team is in search of a skilled Issue Management Coordinator. This individual will leverage project management methodologies and best practices to address and mitigate identified risks within Technology operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with stakeholders throughout the issue management lifecycle.
- Facilitate the intake of issues, crafting management responses and remediation strategies.
- Deliver regular updates on status, including Risk Review reporting and communications for executive leadership.
- Provide a credible challenge to submitted evidence and escalate concerns promptly when necessary.
- Oversee the closure process of identified issues.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Proficient in building relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Skilled in tracking and managing complex remediation plans.
- Capable of adhering to timelines while ensuring quality deliverables.
- Effective communicator with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Understanding of risk management principles and effective control environments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends impacting financial services.
- Comprehensive understanding of business operations, products, systems, and associated risks.
- Strong facilitation, project management, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in various software applications, including Microsoft Office.
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, CIA, CISA, CRISC) and familiarity with emerging technologies are advantageous.
