Job Overview: Accountable for the precise and prompt resolution of all bank returned transactions. Delivers exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders while minimizing potential risks to the organization. Informs clients and branch personnel about the resolution procedures and offers alternative service options when necessary. Cultivates and sustains fundamental knowledge of products, including but not limited to Taxpay, Direct Deposit, Readychex, Garnishments, Workers Compensation, Health and Benefits, National Health FSA, FSA Debit card Advantage, and their respective systems to make informed decisions regarding revenue derived from these products. Investigates and addresses product and service concerns raised by the field and clients. Manages client objections with guidance from a mentor and oversees the return process to recover as much lost revenue as feasible, adhering to established standards and protocols. Manages return resolutions and incoming call requirements to fulfill departmental benchmarks. Conducts daily processing of all new and outstanding returned items for designated products. Oversees the daily EDI payment report alongside a mentor to guarantee accuracy and timely updates, preventing penalty assessments. Collaborates on the daily payroll hold report with their mentor to ensure precision and prompt updates, avoiding service-related complications. Maintains daily call metrics based on provided forecasts. Upholds departmental policies and procedures to ensure daily compliance. Assesses client status to identify the appropriate services they are eligible to utilize, mitigating risks and exposure. Engages in continuous training to enhance knowledge and skills. Ensures compliance with the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act, NACHA, and other regulatory bodies. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration is preferred. Experience in Inbound Calls or Call Center settings is required. Background in Customer Service, Finance, Accounting, or Payroll is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access is preferred. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Experience in Collections or Banking is preferred. Work Schedule: Hybrid Schedule (In-office Monday-Wednesday, Remote Thursday & Friday, provided the candidate has a designated, quiet workspace and reliable internet connection at home).
