Key Responsibilities:
1. Direct and oversee the complete revenue cycle process, which includes billing, collections, and accounts receivable.
2. Ensure precise and timely revenue acknowledgment in accordance with GAAP and organizational policies.
3. Analyze and monitor revenue patterns, pinpointing areas for enhancement and executing effective strategies.
4. Lead, mentor, and cultivate a team of revenue specialists, offering guidance and support to meet departmental objectives.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, sales, and customer service, to address billing and revenue challenges.
6. Develop and uphold standard operating procedures for revenue cycle processes.
7. Prepare and present revenue reports to senior management, emphasizing key metrics and performance indicators.
8. Ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations concerning revenue acknowledgment and reporting.
9. Utilize financial software and systems to manage and track revenue data.
10. Assist in the annual budgeting and forecasting processes by providing revenue projections and analyses.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in revenue cycle management, accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory capacity, with the ability to manage and inspire a team.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and revenue acknowledgment principles.
- Proficiency in financial software and systems, with advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage professionally with all levels of the organization.
