Job Title: Manager, Revenue Cycle Vendor Management

Cedars-Sinai is seeking a highly skilled Manager, Revenue Cycle Vendor Management to join our team. As a key member of our revenue cycle operations, you will be responsible for the governance and oversight of vendor partners operating within revenue cycle operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with revenue cycle leadership to drive a consistent vendor management strategy aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Define, measure, and benchmark vendor performance in a consistent manner to develop an approach for discussing and implementing best practices, standardized solutions, tools, and performance auditing.
  • Develop standards, processes, and procedures for all new vendor onboarding.
  • Liaise with revenue cycle team and other departments to communicate in standard approaches with vendors.
  • Research new products and services, in collaboration with revenue cycle leadership, that may contribute to health system goals.
  • Coordinate all revenue cycle related request for proposal (RFP) activities.
  • Manage the execution of revenue cycle contracts working in collaboration with leadership.
  • Establish and maintain positive and collaborative relations with revenue cycle and other departments as needed.
  • Promote an organizational focus by establishing department and personal goals consistent with organizational goals, facilitating collaboration and coordination for interdepartmental problem-solving and supporting new concepts that enhance the functioning of area operations.
  • Ensure that area of responsibility maintains a customer focus by serving as a role model with consistent focus of customer relations, providing feedback via sharing positive and negative customer comments and participating in customer satisfaction initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state and municipal laws, regulations and ordinances for assigned area. Maintain staff compliance with medical center policies, procedures and protocols. Ensure ongoing staff compliance with established health system protocols.
  • Recognize the worth of human resources and use them effectively. Maintain positive work climate, ensure appropriate staff education, promote environment that fosters self-directed staff, assist employees to develop and contribute to the organization and apply human resource policies fairly and consistently.
  • Ensure fiscal responsibility for the unit including unit budget preparation, labor and supply cost management and revenue enhancement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare, business management, finance, economics, or a related major required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of work experience managing vendor relationships; experience in revenue cycle operations required.
  • 5 years-experience with Epic HB Resolute preferred.
  • Additional experience working within Epic Revenue Cycle workflow: PB Resolute, ADT, Cadence, HIM and Coding workflow preferred.
