We are currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Security Program Specialist to contribute to our mission at our Chantilly, VA location. This role involves delivering exceptional support to our clients and embarking on a fulfilling career journey within ManTech. The Senior Security Program Specialist will collaborate with the Senior Program Security Director to offer comprehensive security assistance within a multifaceted and intricate organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Office Security Director in executing assigned tasks for a complex, multi-disciplinary organization.
  • Collaborate with the Policy and Security offices regarding data and technology sharing requests from both domestic and international mission partners.
  • Assist the Program front office in developing future classification guidelines that will be integrated into various programs.
  • Engage with senior-level mission partners across the Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, and international entities.
  • Draft policy documents in accordance with NRO standards.
  • Address security matters with Internal and External Directorates, focusing on physical, personnel, operational, technical, industrial, and information system security.
  • Provide guidance and support to defense contractors across all industrial security domains.

Position Requirements:

  • High School Diploma with 15+ years of relevant NRO/IC experience, or a Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years, or a Master's Degree with 5+ years, or an Associate's Degree with 12+ years of relevant experience.
  • Extensive experience in Intelligence Community security across various disciplines.
  • Proficient in program protection, risk management, security, and classification policy, as well as the planning and execution of program security.
  • Demonstrated experience with CAP/SAPs and Program Protection Management (P2M).
  • Ability to handle complex security issues with thoroughness and discretion.
  • Proven track record of establishing effective working relationships with government agencies and mission partners.
  • Expertise in assessing multiple sources for security classification determinations.
  • Experience in providing risk-managed security recommendations to program managers for successful mission execution.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to act independently and review recommendations from others.
  • Ability to deliver clear and effective presentations on complex topics to diverse audiences, including high-level decision-makers.
  • Skilled in prioritizing competing tasks and managing both long-term projects and immediate obligations.
  • Experience collaborating with industrial security teams.
  • Knowledgeable in implementing Intelligence Community and NRO Directives and Instructions.
  • Ability to mentor junior Program Security Officers.
  • Willingness to travel as required, with potential CONUS travel up to 25%.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively in both one-on-one and group settings.
  • Experience interacting with senior government officials.
  • Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

Security Requirements: Must possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to remain stationary for 50% of the time.
  • Effective communication and information exchange with peers and senior personnel.
  • Frequent operation of office productivity equipment, including computers and scanners.
