Position Overview
We are seeking a Program Security Representative to provide support for a Department of Defense (DoD) client. The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership and guidance through their knowledge and experience, effectively delivering security support across the Director's Action Group.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver multi-discipline security support for a high-performing RDT&E Director's Action Group, providing on-site assistance to senior executive service civilians across all classification levels, including unclassified, Compartmented Information (SCI), Special Access Program (SAP), and collateral programs.
- Conduct daily multi-discipline analysis for SCI, SAP, and collateral activities.
- Ensure compliance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), its Supplement, the DoD Overprint, DCID, ICD, and SAP policy.
- Assist in the development and execution of approved policies and procedures for safeguarding SCI, SAP, and collateral data in support of U.S. military operations.
- Draft and develop Security Classification Guides through the government client's original classification authority.
- Provide ongoing security support, including continuous evaluation of procedures to identify gaps and offer recommendations for enhancing security policies, procedures, and systems.
- Identify vulnerabilities, threats, and risks associated with testing, training, and operational activities, develop OPSEC test plans, and collaborate with vendors to ensure the protection of classified programs.
- Engage with Foreign Disclosure Officials to facilitate the release of materials and develop resources suitable for sharing with allies and foreign partners.
- Conduct and document compliance reviews for SAP facilities, follow-up reviews, and facility close-outs, while monitoring, reporting, and tracking all corrective actions resulting from compliance evaluations.
- Investigate any loss, compromise, or suspected compromise of classified and/or sensitive information, including conducting preliminary inquiries and generating damage assessments related to the loss of classified information.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree is required (or 4 additional years of relevant experience).
- Top Secret clearance with SCI and SAP eligibility, and willingness to undergo a Counterintelligence (CI) examination if necessary.
- 5-10 years of related experience is required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, with a willingness to actively engage with colleagues, program leadership, and clients, which may include delivering presentations.

- Experience with OSD, Pentagon, or Service Headquarters staff.
- Military experience is advantageous.
