Position Overview

We are seeking a Program Security Representative to provide support for a Department of Defense (DoD) client. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong leadership and guidance through their knowledge and experience, effectively delivering security support across the Director's Action Group.

Key Responsibilities

  • The primary role of the Program Security Representative (PSR) is to offer multi-disciplinary security assistance for a high-performing RDT&E Director's Action Group. This includes providing on-site support to multiple senior-level executive service civilians across all classification levels, including unclassified, Compartmented Information (SCI), Special Access Program (SAP), and collateral programs.
  • Conduct daily multi-disciplinary analyses for SCI, SAP, and collateral activities.
  • Ensure strict compliance with the provisions of the NISPOM, its Supplement, the DoD Overprint, DCID, ICD, and SAP policy.
  • Assist in formulating and implementing approved policies and procedures for the protection of SCI, SAP, and collateral data in support of U.S. military operations.
  • Draft and develop Security Classification Guides through the government client's original classification authority.
  • Provide ongoing security support that includes continuous evaluation of procedures to identify deficiencies and offer suitable recommendations for enhancing security policies, procedures, and systems.
  • Identify vulnerabilities, threats, and risks associated with testing, training, and operational activities, develop OPSEC test plans, and collaborate with vendors to ensure the adequate protection of classified programs.
  • Work alongside Foreign Disclosure Officials to release materials and develop content that can be shared with allies and foreign partners.
  • Conduct and document SAP facility compliance reviews, follow-up facility reviews, and facility close-outs, while monitoring, reporting, and tracking all corrective actions resulting from compliance reviews.
  • Investigate any loss, compromise, or suspected compromise of classified and/or sensitive information, including conducting preliminary inquiries and generating damage assessments stemming from the loss of classified information.

Required Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree is required (or 4 additional years of relevant experience).
  • Top Secret clearance with SCI and SAP eligibility, with a willingness to undergo a Counterintelligence (CI) examination if necessary.
  • 5-10 years of related experience is required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, with a willingness to actively engage with colleagues, program leadership, and clients, which may involve delivering presentations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with OSD, Pentagon, or Service Headquarters staff is preferred.
  • Military experience is advantageous.
