We are currently seeking a dedicated and career-focused Senior Program Security Specialist to deliver exceptional support to our clients and embark on a fulfilling career path within ManTech.

Key Responsibilities:

The Senior Program Security Specialist will collaborate with the Director and Deputy Directors of Security to strategize and implement program protection measures.

This role involves assisting the Senior Government Program Security Officer in executing assigned tasks within a multi-faceted and intricate organization, requiring over 10 years of experience in the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) and/or Intelligence Community (IC), with a strong background in program protection, security, and classification policy.

Engagement with the Policy and Security offices is essential for addressing data and technology sharing requests from mission partners, both domestic and international.

Key duties include:

  • Supporting the Program front office in policy development and governance for future classification guidance.
  • Interfacing with senior-level mission partners across the Department of Defense (DoD), IC, and foreign entities.
  • Managing a variety of security concerns across physical, personnel, operational, technical, industrial, and information system security.
  • Providing assistance to defense contractors in all aspects of industrial security.
  • Thriving in a dynamic environment where priorities frequently shift.

Position Requirements:

Applicants should possess either:

  • A high school diploma with 15+ years of relevant experience,
  • A bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience,
  • A master's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, or
  • An associate's degree with 12+ years of relevant experience.

Candidates must have extensive experience in IC security across various disciplines, the ability to address complex security issues with discretion, and exceptional interpersonal skills.

Demonstrated experience in establishing effective working relationships with government agencies and mission partners is essential.

Additional qualifications include:

  • Expertise in providing risk-managed security recommendations to program managers.
  • Capability to analyze complex information and make informed decisions.
  • Strong communication skills for delivering effective briefings and presentations.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage competing tasks effectively.
  • Experience working with industrial security teams.
  • Knowledge of Intelligence Community Directives and NRO Directives.

Security Requirements:

Applicants must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to remain stationary for 50% of the time and communicate effectively with peers and senior personnel. Frequent operation of a computer and other office equipment is required.
