Job Title: Assistant Manager Virtual Branch

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager Virtual Branch to join our team at Credit Union of Texas (CUTX). As a key member of our Virtual Branch team, you will be responsible for leading a team of Virtual Tellers, Virtual Lead Tellers, Lead Chat Agents, and Chat Agents in providing exceptional service to our members.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Partner with the Manager Virtual Branch to develop a highly effective team that consistently lives out the core values, mission, and vision of CUTX.
  • Lead the Virtual Branch team in performing financial and service transactions, via video or online chat, for our members efficiently and accurately.
  • Identify financial needs for the members you serve and recommend appropriate solutions to those needs.
  • Manage operations for all ITMs (Interactive Teller Machines), including maintenance and vendor relations.
  • Look for ways the team can operate more efficiently and make recommendations to leadership.
  • Meet with each team member regularly to review performance and hold team members accountable to the sales and service goals established by leadership.
  • Identify training needs and opportunities and conduct sales training for the team to ensure they are looking for opportunities to provide solutions to internal and external member needs.
  • Manage relationship with vendors for ITM and ATM machines, and chat services, including cash management, and software management.
  • Monitor ITM and ATM machine status to ensure that all machines are operational.
  • Administer corrective action when necessary, up to and including termination, to hold team members accountable for their performance and behavior.
  • Identify exceptional talent through the credit union's hiring process and make recommendations for advancement, promotion, or other internal opportunities.
  • Assign and/or delegate daily work assignments to team members, and develop them to advance in their career with CUTX.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience and certifications.
  • Minimum 4-6 years related experience in a financial institution environment or equivalent preferred.
  • Effective verbal and written communication.
  • Tact and diplomacy when communicating with internal and external members.
  • Ability to multi-task and work under the pressure of deadlines.
  • Cognitive thinking, problem-solving skills, and sound decision-making.
  • Ability to maintain an attitude of positivity, teamwork, and cooperation with internal members.
  • Goal-oriented and ability to stay on task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to consistently coach and develop team members.
  • Basic mathematical skills as it relates to the financial industry.
  • Competence with computer programs, telephone, 10-key calculator, and other office machinery.

**Working Conditions:**

The Assistant Manager Virtual Branch will work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. The position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The Assistant Manager Virtual Branch will be required to travel occasionally for training and meetings.
