Key Responsibilities:

The Branch Manager will undertake a variety of essential duties, including but not limited to:

  • Evaluating local market dynamics to identify sales opportunities and crafting financial forecasts and strategic business plans for the branch.
  • Proposing beneficial adjustments to branch policies and overarching organizational goals.
  • Collaborating with the Regional Manager to establish branch and organizational objectives.
  • Facilitating effective communication with other branches and senior management, sharing insights on best practices and market intelligence.
  • Addressing customer satisfaction concerns in a timely manner.
  • Working closely with the Credit Department to uphold credit policies.
  • Engaging with community and industry organizations to enhance the branch's visibility and reputation.
  • Meeting profitability targets and ensuring accountability for revenue and market share objectives.
  • Managing and expanding existing distribution accounts at an operational level.
  • Analyzing market data to identify trends and implement value-added initiatives.
  • Contributing to the development and execution of sales enhancement programs.
  • Participating in operational meetings and preparing necessary reports.
  • Collaborating with area suppliers and manufacturers' representatives.
  • Recruiting, training, and supervising sales personnel.
  • Enhancing knowledge of industry products and management practices.
  • Adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • In-depth knowledge of fluid and pneumatic power transmission, mechanical transmission, and related repair and testing processes.
  • Experience with hydraulic components and material handling pumps.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
  • High standards of integrity and professionalism.
  • Proficient in identifying business opportunities through market monitoring.
  • Technical expertise in company products.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proven leadership and managerial capabilities.
  • Effective time management and adaptability to changing priorities.
  • Collaborative team player.
  • Demonstrated experience in profit and loss management.

  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a similar role; 4 years preferred, with at least 3 years in a progressive position.
