Administrative Assistant

Job Summary: Weber State University is seeking an Administrative Specialist III to provide assistance and office management to the Executive Director for the Student Success Center (SSC). The successful candidate will coordinate administrative/operational responsibilities, track and monitor budgets, and provide logistical support for projects and events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Executive Director, including phone calls, appointments, and calendars
- Coordinate office management tasks, such as mail, photocopying, and office supplies
- Track and monitor budgets, including expenditures, expense reimbursements, and interdepartmental/purchase requisitions and reconciliations
- Provide logistical support for projects and events, including room scheduling, catering, and attendee communication
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three years of administrative level office management experience
- Experience with MS Office software, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications:
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to network and interact with administrators, faculty, and staff
- Understanding of general accounting principles and practices
