Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team at the Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration. As a Primary Care Physician Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to our nation's veterans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide independent medical care to patients in a primary care setting
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Conduct thorough medical evaluations and diagnose a wide range of medical conditions
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to improve patient outcomes
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or a related field
  • Successful completion of the Physician Assistant National Certifying Exam (PANCE)
  • Current licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant in the state of employment
  • 1 year of experience in primary care or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a primary care setting
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practice and quality improvement principles
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
