Advanced Vibration Analysis Specialist

Position Summary
As a Senior Reliability Maintenance Analyst, you will be recognized as the authority in condition monitoring (CM) technologies, offering technical expertise and leadership to the reliability team.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide and mentor a team of reliability analysts, sharing best practices, methodologies, and fostering technical skill development.
- Design and execute comprehensive condition monitoring strategies tailored to the unique requirements of our organization and its equipment assets.
- Employ advanced nondestructive testing methods and tools to evaluate the integrity and performance of critical components across various CM domains.
- Analyze data from diverse condition monitoring sources, including vibration analysis, thermography, and ultrasonic testing, to detect trends, anomalies, and potential failures.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to prioritize maintenance tasks, enhance asset performance, and reduce unplanned downtime.
- Perform thorough root cause analyses to uncover underlying issues contributing to equipment failures and formulate effective mitigation plans.
- Lead reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) initiatives, focusing on the creation of preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to improve asset reliability and lifespan.
- Stay informed about industry innovations, emerging technologies, and best practices in reliability engineering to continuously refine processes and methodologies.
- Develop and facilitate training sessions and workshops to elevate the knowledge and skills of reliability team members and stakeholders.
- Act as a liaison with external vendors, contractors, and industry specialists to utilize specialized expertise and resources as necessary.
Qualifications and Skills
- Expertise in condition monitoring tools, software, and data analysis techniques.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, capable of inspiring and motivating team members towards shared objectives.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Effective communication abilities, both verbal and written, with the capacity to explain complex technical concepts to varied audiences.
- Dedication to safety, quality, and principles of continuous improvement.
Experience Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in condition monitoring, reliability engineering, or a related field.
Educational Background and Certifications
Mandatory:
- High School Diploma
- Certification from the American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT) Level 2 or equivalent in the CM area of specialty.
- International Organization for Standardization (ISO) Category 3 certification.
- ASNT Level 1 certification or equivalent in at least one additional secondary CM technology.
