A Supply Chain Operations Manager at LGCY Power plays a pivotal role in supervising and coordinating the complete supply chain operations concerning inventory management, ensuring that products are transported, stored, and distributed efficiently within the designated market.

Key Responsibilities of a Supply Chain Operations Manager:

  • Formulating and executing logistics strategies to guarantee the timely delivery of precise materials.
  • Overseeing inventory requirements to ensure timely order placements, minimizing material idle time on-site.
  • Managing Bill of Materials (BOM) from suppliers to ensure correct site allocation.
  • Tracking and managing all assets to ensure projects are completed with the correct materials, adjusting for any material changes as necessary.
  • Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal logistics regulations.
  • Evaluating logistics metrics and performance data to pinpoint areas for enhancement.
  • Assisting in cost management for logistics projects.
  • Building and nurturing relationships with suppliers, field operations, and sales teams.
  • Addressing and resolving any challenges or delays in the logistics process.
  • Utilizing logistics software and technology to streamline operations.
  • Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations in all logistics activities.
  • Maintaining high customer satisfaction levels by meeting delivery timelines and quality standards through effective inventory management.
  • Identifying process improvement opportunities and implementing best practices to boost efficiency.
  • Aiming to achieve an On-Time Delivery Rate of 98% or higher.
  • Managing and monitoring the Reverse Logistics Cycle Time to ensure that returns are processed and reintegrated into inventory within 5 business days.
  • Striving for a 95% Inventory Accuracy, ensuring the accuracy of requested delivery SKUs and quantities against physical deliveries.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse operations or a leadership role
  • At least 2 years of experience in the solar industry
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics management
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record as per company policy
  • Strong understanding of warehouse procedures and policies
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and leadership skills
  • Excellent organizational capabilities
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of staff
Physical Requirements:
  • Capability to lift over 50 lbs.
  • Ability to bend, squat, stretch, and lift
  • Exposure to outdoor weather conditions
  • Ability to work in a standard office environment
  • Ability to work in a typical warehouse setting
