Role Summary: The Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of various projects, including construction, systems integration, and professional services contracts. This role involves resource acquisition and coordination of team members and external contractors to ensure project delivery aligns with established plans and budgets. The Project Manager will foster a collaborative environment, define project objectives, and ensure quality control throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Oversight: Create detailed project plans that align customer requirements with organizational goals, coordinating with various managers and technical staff throughout all project phases.
  • Government Contract Management: Supervise government contracts, ensuring adherence to all regulatory and contractual obligations while cultivating relationships with government entities and stakeholders.
  • Construction and Systems Installation Management: Direct construction and systems installation projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely, within-scope, and budget-compliant outcomes. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction professionals.
  • Professional Services Management: Oversee the delivery of professional services and staffing contracts, ensuring client satisfaction and mission success. Work closely with the recruiting team to identify suitable resources and maintain effective communication.
  • Financial Oversight: Develop and manage project budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure financial performance targets are achieved.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify potential project risks and devise proactive mitigation strategies.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and motivate project team members, manage performance, provide constructive feedback, and resolve conflicts.
  • Client Engagement: Act as the primary liaison for clients, nurturing strong relationships and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
  • Status Reporting: Deliver regular updates and reports on project status to clients, senior management, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of project management experience, particularly in government contracting, construction, or professional services.
  • Active Secret or Top-Secret Clearance preferred; must be able to obtain clearance if required.
  • PMP certification or equivalent preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Exceptional organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in team management and empowerment.
  • Experience in budget management and financial analysis.
  • Able to perform well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in relevant software, including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Knowledge of regulations and standards in government contracting.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree or higher preferred but not mandatory.
