Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will play a crucial part in achieving our branch's marketing and sales objectives, including:

  • Supporting the branch in reaching its marketing and sales targets.
  • Conducting takeoffs from blueprints and existing structures, preparing estimates, drafting client proposals, managing contracts, and developing project timelines and budgets.
  • Overseeing project execution while ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  • Preparing customer invoices and assisting with collection efforts as needed.
  • Engaging in ongoing business development with architects, owners, engineers, and general contractors.
  • Identifying opportunities to promote Western's services in concrete and masonry restoration, as well as waterproofing.
  • Implementing marketing strategies to educate both new and existing clients about our service offerings.
  • Building and nurturing relationships with current and prospective clients to expand our customer base.
  • Providing comprehensive customer support throughout all project phases and maintaining communication during and after project completion.
  • Accurately estimating and pricing work to optimize profitability.
  • Preparing client proposals and following up to secure sales.
  • Monitoring project deployment to ensure timely and quality execution.
  • Collaborating with Superintendents and Foremen to meet customer requirements and timelines.
  • Documenting and communicating any project changes to the field and clients, ensuring job files are complete.
  • Assisting in the training and development of sales and field personnel to enhance overall team quality.
  • Ensuring timely billing and supporting collection efforts as required.
  • Maintaining technical expertise through participation in relevant seminars and training programs.
  • Contributing to operational effectiveness by fostering internal and external relationships.
  • Participating in industry-related organizations to expand networking opportunities and develop new business prospects.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction, preferably in concrete and masonry restoration.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or a related field is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting drawings, blueprints, and specifications is essential for success.
  • The ideal candidate will possess strong sales acumen along with project management skills, with a greater emphasis on sales capabilities.
  • A comprehensive understanding of the construction industry is beneficial.
