Role Summary: The Project Manager at Powers is responsible for orchestrating construction initiatives, ensuring they are executed efficiently and within budget. Key responsibilities encompass financial planning, organizational oversight, implementation, and scheduling of various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage construction projects from initial concept through to final execution.
  • Supervise a team of construction personnel and subcontractors.
  • Install, maintain, or repair HVAC control systems and related devices, adhering to mechanical and electrical schematics.
  • Conduct thorough project reviews to establish timelines and cost estimates.
  • Monitor compliance with safety and building regulations on-site and off-site.
  • Select and manage tools, materials, and equipment while overseeing inventory.
  • Ensure contractual obligations are met.
  • Review daily progress of work.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on job status for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proactively plan to mitigate potential issues and resolve any arising challenges.

  • Adapt to both commercial and residential building environments.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in construction management.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction management processes and methodologies.
  • Expertise in building automation systems, construction specifics, and applicable regulations.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the construction lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with construction management software tools.
  • Ability to maintain a broad perspective while planning.
  • Skilled in conflict resolution and crisis management.
  • Strong leadership and human resource management capabilities.
  • Exceptional time management and project coordination skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Professional demeanor in appearance and conduct.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Outstanding communication skills and sound judgment.
