Job Summary

As a Human Resources Manager at Sysco, you will play a critical role in supporting the company's strategic objectives by developing and implementing effective HR programs and initiatives. This includes partnering with HR Business Partners and leadership to execute core HR processes, providing coaching and guidance to leaders and associates, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business results.

Key Responsibilities
  • HR Process Execution: Partner with HR Business Partners to execute core HR processes, including performance management, talent management, total rewards, compensation, training and development, and interactive process of transitional return to work.
  • Coaching and Guidance: Provide coaching and guidance to leaders and associates on HR-related matters, including policy and procedure.
  • Recruitment and Staffing: Collaborate with leaders and COEs to support recruitment and staffing plans.
  • Culture Development: Work with HR Business Partners to drive an inclusive and diverse culture.
  • Associate Engagement: Develops, implements, and administers programs to enhance associate engagement and satisfaction levels.
  • Employee and Labor Relations: Employee and labor relations, including investigations and conflict resolution.
  • Compliance: Support in reviewing, interpreting, administering, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, and company policies and procedures.
  • Training and Development: Assists in determining training needs and developing programs to improve performance and professional development.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree with major or emphasis in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
  • Experience: 5 years of experience in Human Resources management or equivalent, with 3 years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Certifications: Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI) Professional Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) certification preferred.
  • Skills: Strong communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
