Case Aide Position

Rising Ground is seeking a skilled Case Aide to support our Family Foster Care Program. As a key member of our team, you will perform various supportive activities to help children and families thrive.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with locating information regarding parents/families and resources in the community.
- Communicate information to case planners and follow through on case aide related assignments.
- Make home visits, help supervise child-family contact visits, and accompany children to service providers.
- Assist with office clerical duties, including photocopying, filing documents, and processing mail.
- Maintain an orderly, safe, and informative on-site environment for children and parents.
- Promptly report hazards and observations suggesting suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation of children.
- Associate degree preferred, with a minimum of two years of prior experience as an Office Assistant.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent considered with prior experience in child welfare.
- Ability to carry out assignments with attention to accurateness, thoroughness, and timeliness.
- Demonstrated ability to rotate positively to people from diverse backgrounds and lifestyles.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and computer skills.
This is a full-time position with an annual salary of $43,680.00. Work hours options are 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, 9:30 am - 5:30 pm, 10 am - 6 pm. Ability to work in-person in New York City for at least 3 days or more per week.
