Bilingual Case Aide for School-Based Early Support Program

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Case Aide to join our team at Center For Family Life in Sunset Park Inc. The successful candidate will provide concrete services to families and administrative support to the program in the context of the school community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support families with concrete needs as part of a team approach to helping families across four schools in Sunset Park
- Provide direct advocacy and support to families by accompanying them to access services in the community
- Complete varied administrative tasks to support the program, including case file maintenance, client record requests, fiscal reconciliations, data entry, purchasing, and assistance with special projects
- Assist with the facilitation of groups and workshops
- Participate in outreach and engagement activities in the schools to develop relationships with families and school staff
- Collaborate with school staff, program staff, and other CFL school-based staff to meet the needs of families
- Visit families in their homes
- Provide interpretation as needed
- Provide childcare for parent groups and events as needed
- Assist with the coordination of school-based events
- Complete required documentation and data entry for client contacts
- Attend supervision, staff meetings, and trainings, and meetings within partner schools
- Build relationships with community-based service providers
- Collaborate with all CFL programs to ensure an integrated approach to serving families
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent with extensive experience working with families; OR BA/BS/BSW with relevant experience
- Bilingual in Spanish or Mandarin required
- Experience collaborating with schools preferred
- Excellent organization, communication, and writing skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
- Ability to work evenings as needed to serve working families
- Flexibility to work occasional weekend days to attend community events
