About the Role: We are looking for a visionary leader to take charge of our Maintenance Operations. This role requires someone who can effectively delegate responsibilities to maintenance supervisors while maintaining a positive and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster a diverse and respectful workplace culture.

  • Assist Maintenance Supervisors in managing road calls and ensuring fleet readiness.
  • Oversee departmental staff training and maintenance processes.
  • Monitor asset management software for preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Coordinate vendor repair requirements and maintain relationships with suppliers.
  • Track repairs, warranty issues, and inventory levels.
  • Generate productivity reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
  • Participate in enhancing customer satisfaction and service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Business Management, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of management experience in a regulated rail transit environment.
  • Proven track record in rail maintenance management.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage budgets and prioritize tasks effectively.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees and customers.
  • Frequent walking and standing required.
  • Occasional lifting of objects up to fifty pounds.
