Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at North Coast Container. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning of our equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment downtime and ensure smooth production operations.
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex machinery and equipment, utilizing your knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance procedures to extend the lifespan of our equipment.
  • Order and manage inventory of spare parts and materials as needed.
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve equipment-related issues.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance plans to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar maintenance role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including PLCs and drives.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with CNC machines and conveyor systems.
  • Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
  • PLC programming experience.
  • Facilities maintenance experience.
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary range: $71,500.00 - $95,000.00 per year.
  • 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday, with overtime as needed.
