Estamos en la búsqueda de un Investigador Principal en Bioinformática altamente calificado y con experiencia para unirse a nuestro equipo en Psomagen.

El candidato seleccionado desempeñará un papel fundamental en el apoyo a nuestras operaciones de datos de NGS, manteniendo una comunicación efectiva con los clientes y realizando análisis bioinformáticos avanzados.

Responsabilidades

  • 1. Operaciones de Datos NGS y Gestión de LIMS:
    • Administrar y mantener los flujos de trabajo y pipelines de datos NGS.
    • Asegurar la calidad e integridad de los datos a través de la operación de LIMS.
    • Colaborar con equipos internos para optimizar el procesamiento y análisis de datos.
  • 2. Resolución de Problemas para Clientes:
    • Investigar y resolver problemas y discrepancias relacionadas con los datos.
    • Proporcionar soluciones efectivas y oportunas a las inquietudes de los clientes.
    • Comunicar información técnica a partes interesadas no técnicas.
  • 3. Comunicación con Clientes:
    • Construir relaciones sólidas con los clientes a través de una comunicación y colaboración efectivas.
    • Comprender los objetivos de investigación de los clientes para ofrecer soluciones personalizadas.
    • Proporcionar actualizaciones y reportes regulares a los clientes sobre el progreso y resultados de los proyectos.
  • 4. Control de Calidad y Análisis Avanzado de RNA de Células Individuales y Análisis de Olink:
    • Realizar control de calidad y análisis avanzado de datos de secuenciación de RNA de células individuales.
    • Realizar control de calidad y análisis de datos de proteómica Olink.
    • Desarrollar e implementar nuevos pipelines y métodos de análisis para mejorar la interpretación de datos.

Calificaciones Mínimas y Preferencias

  • Doctorado en Bioinformática o campo similar con al menos 2 años de experiencia.
  • Familiaridad con la tecnología NGS y flujos de trabajo en un entorno Linux.
  • Experiencia en el uso de herramientas bioinformáticas y familiaridad con bases de datos genómicas/proteómicas.
  • Excelentes habilidades de comunicación, interpersonales y de presentación en inglés.
  • Experiencia con lenguajes de scripting, incluyendo Python, R, Bash.
  • Capacidad para trabajar en equipo con colaboradores externos e independientemente con mínima supervisión.

Deseable:

  • Experiencia con lenguajes de flujo de trabajo como NextFlow, CWL, Snakemake.
  • Familiaridad con sistemas LIMS y mejores prácticas de gestión de datos.
  • Liderazgo y Responsabilidad:
    • Orientación al detalle y capacidad de liderazgo orientado al trabajo en equipo.
    • Capacidad para demostrar buen juicio en la selección de métodos y técnicas para obtener soluciones.
