Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Clinical Pharmacy Technician I to join our team at Option Care Health. As a Clinical Pharmacy Technician I, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and accurate operation of our pharmacy services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and validate prescription refill requests, ensuring compliance with Option Care Health policies and procedures.
  • Assist with preparing and dispensing medications and supplies, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of equipment, including calibration, inspection, cleaning, testing, and reporting any defects to the supervisor.
  • Collect and maintain patient information, ensuring accurate planning of needed materials, supplies, equipment, and prescriptions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Receive and verify incoming supplies and materials, ensuring accurate inventory management.
  • Stock and store new supplies and materials, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Monitor expiration dates and identify shortages, taking proactive steps to address any issues.
  • Pick and pack materials and supplies, creating tickets as needed.
  • Track inventory through accurate data entry into applicable systems.
  • Schedule routine patient deliveries, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Clean and sanitize surfaces and equipment, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 0-6 months of relevant experience preferred.
  • Licensed or registered within 6 months of hire (if required by state).
  • Successful completion of Option Care Health's designated training course within 6 months of hire (if licensure and/or training course is required by the state).
  • Excellent customer service skills, with experience providing service to internal and external customers.
  • Basic to intermediate level mathematical calculations.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Basic level skill in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Benefits
