Soleo Health Inc is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy operations. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in providing clinical support services and sterile compounding of infusion therapies under the direction of a pharmacist.
Key Responsibilities- Sterile Preparation: Prepare and provide clinical support services necessary for the dispensing of injectable and oral medications used to support our core business offerings.
- USP 797 and USP 800 Compliance: Demonstrate understanding of USP 797 standards, USP 800 standards, and current State Board of Pharmacy (BOP) regulations.
- Inventory Management: Maintain call and shipment schedules to ensure continuity of care for all patients.
- Data Entry: Perform efficient data entry of pertinent patient and prescription information into company's pharmacy software system, as allowed by BOP regulations.
- Clean Room Maintenance: Perform all cleaning and maintenance of the pharmacy clean room in accordance with company policy and state BOP regulations.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in company's quality assurance and performance improvement program.
- Continuing Education: Remain current with the BOP continuing education requirements, and completes Soleo's annual re-credentialing process.
- Supply Management: Perform receiving and storage of medications and supplies from vendors.
- Shipping and Receiving: Perform the picking/packaging of supplies and medications for shipment to the customer home.
- Inventory Counts: Participate in regularly scheduled inventory counts and complies with Soleo's formulary management program.
- Licensure and Certification: Obtain additional state technical licensure/registration as requested to support the geographic service area of the branch.
- Education: High school diploma (or equivalent) required.
- Certification: Registered/Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT), or as required by the BOP.
- Experience: Minimum experience working as a technician in the pharmacy IV room of a hospital.
- Skills: Excellent customer service skills, excellent sterile compounding technique, and basic to intermediate efficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
