Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Contracts Manager to join our team at Northrop Grumman. As a key member of our Maritime/Land Sensors and Systems (MLSS) Division, you will be responsible for supporting the Operating Unit (OU) Contracts Manager for the Power and Propulsion Generation.

About the Role:
  • Support the OU contracts' portfolio, delivering successful financial performance, risk mitigation, change management, and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead a team of 6 contracts professionals, providing direct supervision, management, and success.
  • Conduct proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment.
  • Provide objective-oriented direction, utilizing management guidelines, general policies, and maintain a strong level of engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement contracts strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Manage and maintain contracts databases, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless contract execution.
  • Provide training and guidance to contracts professionals on contract administration best practices.
Requirements:
  • BS/BA with 10 years of industry-related experience in contract administration/management, or a Master's degree with 8 years of industry-related experience.
  • 1 year in a formal people leadership role.
  • Experience successfully recruiting, training, and retaining employees at all skill levels.
  • Experience with succession planning, professional development, and performance management.
  • Prior experience presenting to and negotiating with all levels of management.
  • Knowledge and understanding of pricing principles and FAR/DFARS as well as associated Federal Contracting regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Degree in Business, Finance, or related discipline.
  • JD or MBA.
  • Familiarity with SAP-based systems.
  • NCMA Certification (CPCM, CFCM, and/or CCCM).
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Salary Range:

$108,400 - $188,300

The above salary range represents a general guideline and may be adjusted based on individual qualifications and experience.
