Job Overview

At Pop-Up Talent, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Contract and Compliance Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for enhancing our company's ability to grow and prosper by formalizing and continuously improving compliance and risk management practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the subcontractor onboarding process to ensure seamless integration with our operations.
  • Develop and implement a robust prequalification process to ensure vendors meet our compliance standards.
  • Provide guidance and education to our team on general and specific compliance risks, as well as vendor selection best practices.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with subcontractors, including those that may be unreliable or under financial stress.
  • Improve the efficiency of our Master Service Agreement (MSA) review and negotiation process.
  • Collaborate with our Project Execution and Accounting teams to address onboarding and compliance issues.
  • Review and score subcontractors in our prequalification system to ensure they meet our compliance requirements.
  • Manage subcontractor insurance compliance and onboarding in our system.
  • Provide critical information for our annual insurance audit.
  • Lead our annual compliance audit to ensure we meet all regulatory requirements.
Compliance and Risk Management
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of vendor compliance, including W-9 forms and licenses.
  • Ensure vendors are properly insured and compliant with regulatory and contractual requirements.
  • Develop and implement ad-hoc compliance reporting to ensure we stay on top of potential risks.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Proficiency in project accounting platforms, including Paperless, Sage 300 CRE, and Greenlight.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a strong focus on Excel.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new applications and programs.
  • Strong knowledge of subcontractor insurance and compliance requirements.
  • At least 3 years of experience in compliance management within the construction industry.
