POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Account Executive will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth at key client accounts within a well-established and rapidly expanding global organization focused on Factory Automation.
This position is ideally suited for candidates located in the Southeast Michigan area. The role will require approximately 10-12 nights of overnight travel each month.This position demands exceptional consultative selling abilities across various levels of the client's organization, including engineering, procurement, and management, focusing on a diverse mechanical component portfolio and a unique customizable product offering.
Moreover, this role will be essential in uncovering and delivering customer insights that will aid in the development of new services and products aimed at enhancing market presence.

Sales Management:
Collaborate closely with the sales team to meet revenue objectives.
Establish and regularly update account strategies.
Provide regular reports on account forecasts, opportunity pipelines, and sales activities.
Assess and apply effective sales techniques to meet revenue goals.
Provide timely and diligent support to clients throughout the design and purchasing processes.
Engage with design engineers, buyers, and other decision-makers to influence purchasing decisions.
Deliver professional presentations on products and services to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Business Development:
Consult with clients to identify barriers and propose solutions that enhance satisfaction and drive revenue growth.
Engage with design engineers, buyers, and other key personnel to influence decision-making.
Analyze and present product and service recommendations to sales leadership.
Maintain a strong understanding of competitive dynamics and market opportunities.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial automation sales is required, with a preference for experience in selling mechanical components for automation and assembly equipment.
Experience in the automotive, medical, and electric vehicle sectors is highly desirable.
Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills are essential.
Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications is required.
Experience with CRM software for managing the sales cycle and opportunity tracking is necessary.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.
