This role is responsible for working collaboratively with the Team Leads, Producer, and Account Administrator managing a book of business.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining client relationships, supporting client retention, maintaining strong carrier relationships, and understanding client needs
  • Managing projects in concert with the client, including all vendor implementation
  • Managing claims and coverage issue resolution for clients' employees when elevated from HR
  • Providing assistance with clients' billing and eligibility audits, and on occasion may conduct these audits for clients independently if not handled or escalated by Account Administrator
  • Facilitating preparation of open enrollment (OE) packets including SBCs and disclosure notices, when not completed by Account Administrator
  • Creating employee benefit booklets, when not completed by Account Administrator
  • Managing new carrier, plan or vendor implementation including benefits administration system build-out and project management
  • Installing and regularly updating client specific data in BenefitPoint
  • Performing contract review and facilitating preparation of SPD Wraps, Cafeteria and POP Plan documents
  • Providing mentorship with Account Administrator/Assistant Plan Analyst where applicable
  • Coordinates client contact changes with Producer/Account Executive
  • Makes sure the client is aware of the resources that HUB offers
  • Attends industry related continuing education training and courses
  • Must follow HUB Broker Standards

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree required (4-year degree)
  • 3-5 years of related experience working as an Account Manager or Account Representative in the employee benefit arena (equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable)
  • Experience with Agency Management systems preferred
  • Proficiency using MS Excel
