About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Donor Services Coordinator to join our team at Planned Parenthood Federation of America. As a key member of our Direct Response department, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service to our donors, affiliates, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide timely and effective support to donors, including responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and managing tribute giving programs.
  • Manage donor records, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information, and maintaining proper coding and solicitation preferences.
  • Process credit card donations, refunds, and other financial transactions, while ensuring compliance with PAC and Action Fund regulations.
  • Produce and send duplicate gift acknowledgments, and follow up with donors and colleagues to ensure all inquiries are resolved.
  • Assist with other projects and duties as assigned, demonstrating a strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in development, customer service, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in development or customer service-related work, with a strong focus on donor relations and customer service.
  • Exceptional customer service and telephone skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office products and Google Suite, with experience in database management and data analysis.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task and juggle multiple priorities.
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and teamwork.
