Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Patient Care Coordinator to enhance our Audiology practice. This role is vital in ensuring that patients receive exceptional care and support throughout their journey with us. Our practice has a rich history of providing top-notch hearing solutions, and we value the importance of understanding the unique challenges faced by individuals with hearing loss.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize patient scheduling to maximize efficiency.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing calls, converting inquiries into appointments.
  • Promote our wellness initiatives by encouraging patient referrals.
  • Implement appointment reminders to ensure patient attendance.
  • Deliver outstanding service through timely and respectful interactions.
  • Verify insurance details and complete necessary documentation for hearing aid services.
  • Engage in continuous training and development to enhance skills.
  • Anticipate the needs of healthcare providers to support patient care.
  • Learn to perform basic cleaning and repairs on hearing aids.
  • Uphold patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Monitor and report on scheduling metrics daily.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required; Associate Degree preferred.
  • Two years of front office experience is advantageous.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is essential.
  • Familiarity with office equipment such as fax machines and printers.
  • Ability to work independently while being detail-oriented and organized.
  • Strong teamwork skills are necessary.
