About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled EEG Technologist I Non-Registered to join our team at AdventHealth Orlando. As an EEG Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Neurosciences department.

Responsibilities
  • Perform quality EEG recordings, utilizing your expertise to collect pertinent patient history information and prepare the patient for the examination.
  • Utilize appropriate activation procedures to ensure accurate and reliable recordings.
  • Accurately document, post, and charge for procedures to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Actively participate in department and hospital quality improvement initiatives.
  • Adhere to hospital infection control and safety standards, ensuring a safe environment for patients and staff.
Requirements
  • Minimum one-year EEG experience or completion of greater than 50% of courses toward or graduation from an Electroneurodiagnostics (END) program.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and physicians.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
