About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled EEG Technologist I to join our team at AdventHealth. As an EEG Technologist, you will be responsible for performing quality EEG recordings, scanning and correlating study information, and facilitating all aspects of study completion and reporting.

Responsibilities
  • Perform quality recordings by collecting pertinent patient history information, properly preparing the patient, conducting the examination, and preparing the recording for physician interpretation.
  • Utilize appropriate activation procedures to ensure accurate and reliable results.
  • Accurately document, post, and charge for procedures to ensure quality standards set by the department and hospital.
  • Actively support and participate in department and hospital quality improvement initiatives as directed.
  • Adhere to hospital infection control and safety standards, ensuring equipment is in good working condition and initiating appropriate contacts when repairs are required.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of EEG procedures and equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
