Job Summary

AdventHealth is seeking a highly skilled EEG Technologist Registered Night to join our team in the Neurology Department at AdventHealth Orlando. As an EEG Technologist, you will be responsible for performing routine EEG and continuous EEG recordings, analyzing study information, and correlating data. You will also be expected to provide exceptional customer service and maintain relationships with patients and families.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine EEG and continuous EEG recordings per ACNS and departmental guidelines.
  • Analyze study information and correlate data.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain relationships with patients and families.
  • Maintain supplies and equipment for patient care.
  • Complete quality seizure monitoring studies with accurate and consistent documentation of patient state, behavior, and events for physician interpretation.
Requirements
  • Minimum of three years EEG/long-term seizure monitoring experience.
  • Graduate of an Electroneurodiagnostic (END) Program or an Associate's degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
  • OR five years EEG/long-term seizure monitoring experience.
  • Registered in electroencephalography (R. EEG T.) by ABRET.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
