Role Summary

As a Sous Chef, you will play a vital role in our culinary operations, assisting in the management of food preparation and presentation for various catering events. This position offers a balanced work schedule primarily from Monday to Friday, with occasional evening and weekend commitments. You will have the opportunity to express your culinary creativity while ensuring outstanding dining experiences in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Executive Chef in overseeing cost management and operational expenditures.
  • Collaborate in menu planning and development.
  • Execute and manage catering events efficiently.
  • Implement new culinary initiatives in partnership with the marketing and culinary teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience in culinary arts.
  • Progressive experience in culinary or kitchen management.
  • Experience in catering services is advantageous.
  • Background in high-volume food service operations is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with institutional and batch cooking methods.
  • In-depth knowledge of food trends, quality standards, and presentation techniques.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other computer applications.
  • Willingness to engage in client satisfaction initiatives.
  • ServSafe certification is preferred.
