Job Summary:

As a Blood Collection Specialist at Baptist Health, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of laboratory testing. Your primary responsibility will be to collect blood samples from patients of all ages in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect blood samples via the appropriate location and method from patients of all ages
• Explain collection procedures and provide general testing information to patients as needed
• Calm and reassure anxious or apprehensive patients
• Perform limited bedside testing
• Work with minimal supervision and multitask with minimal errors

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
