Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Medical Coding Specialist to join our team at Randstad. As a Medical Coding Specialist, you will be responsible for collecting, posting, and managing account payments from medical billing, submitting claims, working denials, and following up with insurance companies and patients to ensure appropriate collection of medical claims. Additionally, you will be maintaining Preventative Medicaid and Manage Care Organizations, setting up and maintaining Electronic Funds Transfer accounts with Medicaid, and utilizing medical software, including Certified Coding Specialist, ICD-10, CPT Codes, and CPC.

Responsibilities:

Collecting, posting, and managing account payments from medical billing

Submitting claims

Working denials

Following up with insurance companies and patients to ensure appropriate collection of medical claims

Maintaining Preventative Medicaid and Manage Care Organizations

Setting up and maintaining Electronic Funds Transfer accounts with Medicaid

Requirements:

3 years of experience in medical coding

Certified Coding Specialist certification

Proficiency in medical software, including ICD-10, CPT Codes, and CPC
