We are seeking a skilled Psychologist to provide clinical services to children and families at the Upper Manhattan Mental Health Center, Inc.

Job Summary:

The Psychologist will participate in the implementation of the agency's Project LAUNCH grant, providing clinical training and consultation to staff and partner organizations. The ideal candidate will have experience in child-parent psychotherapy and be certified or experienced in working with children under the age of 7 and their families.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy for children under the age of 7 and their families
  • Conduct Intake Assessments and provide clinical treatment and social services
  • Complete Intake Reports, safety assessments, and plans, Quarterly Treatment Plans, Psychosocial Reports, Progress Notes, and other clinical documentation
  • Maintain comprehensive and timely client records
  • Attend agency Grand Rounds, Unit Staff meetings, case conferences, and training meetings
Qualifications:
  • LMSW/LCSW/LMHC/LCAT from an accredited school, with a specialty or experience in child-parent psychotherapy and running groups or PsyD/PhD in Mental Health Field
  • Experience in working with children, adolescents, and families
  • Bilingual Spanish speaking
  • CPP Training, early childhood experience
Working Conditions:

The Psychologist will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a diverse population. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team setting and provide high-quality clinical services to children and families.

Salary: $85,000; expected $17,000 for.2 FTE

Hours:.2 FTE; 8 hours
