Job Title: Embedded Systems Architect

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Embedded Systems Architect to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and integrating embedded systems for ground combat vehicles. Your expertise in embedded systems development, computer vision, machine learning, and autonomous navigation will be essential in supporting the development and testing of optionally manned systems for DoD Science and Technology initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop embedded systems for ground combat vehicles
  • Integrate and test embedded systems with other vehicle systems
  • Develop and execute system-level project plans
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers
Requirements
  • Bachelor's of Science or higher in Engineering or a related field
  • At least 12 years of related experience
  • Experience in Model Based Systems Engineering such as SysML UML, DoDAF, and UPDM
  • Demonstrated experience with military electronics systems, subsystem and system-level testing and integration, and leadership responsibilities in a large project or effort
  • Experience with Deterministic and Non-Deterministic Data Bus Architectures, i.e., CAN Bus, Ethernet, etc.
  • Ability to perform Functional Decomposition and Capability Development methods to develop new architectures
  • Integrate and develop data networks that cross multiple layers of information security (Classified/Unclassifed)
  • Develop and execute system-level project plans
  • Experience with requirements management tools such as IBM Rational Doors
  • Proficient in communicating with technical engineering managers, system/software architects, software developers, and non-technical program managers, end users, and military leadership
