You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders, focusing on the development of both manned and unmanned ground vehicles, robotics, and vehicle electronics.
Your engineering acumen will be pivotal in multidisciplinary research projects centered on ground combat vehicles. A solid foundation in embedded systems development, computer vision, machine learning, and autonomous navigation will be essential for advancing the development and testing of optionally manned systems.
Strong interpersonal skills and effective relationship management are crucial for success in this position. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical knowledge and excellent communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage engineering tasks across multiple disciplines.
- Translate complex platform requirements into structured engineering tasks.
- Engage with clients to ensure alignment on project objectives.
- Utilize your expertise in embedded systems to drive innovation.
- U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an Active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, particularly in Model Based Systems Engineering.
- Proven experience with military electronics systems and leadership in large-scale projects.
- Familiarity with various Data Bus Architectures.
- Experience in Functional Decomposition and Capability Development.
- Ability to integrate data networks across multiple security layers.
- Experience with project management tools.
- Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in process development and improvement methodologies.
- Knowledge of legacy military systems.
- Understanding of Time Sensitive Networking.
