Embedded Linux/RTOS Engineer

Contract Professionals, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Embedded Linux/RTOS Engineer to support our Software Loader and Verifier team. As a key member of our team, you will focus on integration for vehicle electronic systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Scrum Team in Agile practices to deliver high-quality products.
  • Coach team development through Agile methodologies and ensure Scrum practices are followed.
  • Develop and maintain software for embedded systems, with a focus on Linux/RTOS.
  • Perform Linux system programming, including driver development.
  • Implement embedded system security using cryptography and secure architectures.
  • Troubleshoot low-level software and hardware issues.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience, including 3+ years as a Scrum Master.
  • Strong C/C++ development skills, with experience in embedded systems.
  • Familiarity with build environments like Yocto, Buildroot, or OpenEmbedded.
  • US Citizenship required due to security clearance eligibility.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with safety-critical or real-time systems.
  • Knowledge of Eclipse, GIT, Jira, and Agile methodologies.
  • Prior experience in ground combat vehicles is a plus.
