We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded Software Systems Architect to join our team at DCS Corp. As a Subsystem Design Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing functional capabilities of embedded software systems for military combat vehicles.
Key Responsibilities- Develop System Requirements, System Architecture, and Subsystems Design for implementing embedded software solutions within vehicle electronic components.
- Utilize and create necessary interface control documents, communication protocols, and user interface documents.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software systems.
- Develop and maintain System Subsystem Design Documents (SSDD) and War-Machine Interface Design Documents (WMIDDs).
- Work with interface protocols and tools such as 1553 Data Bus, PASS 3200, Ethernet, Wireshark, CAN bus, and Catalyzer.
- Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or similar engineering degree.
- 8 years of experience in software systems development and subsystem design.
- Experience with military C4ISR equipment integration for Ground Combat Systems.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
- U.S. citizenship required.
