Job Overview:
As a leader in Sub-Acute and Long-Term Care, this role presents a unique opportunity to enhance work-life balance while contributing to a vital sector of healthcare. We are in search of a dedicated Medical Director for our facilities, which emphasizes flexibility and a commitment to quality care.
The position offers an annual compensation of $250,000 and is designed for those who are Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, with experience in Long-Term Care.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assume full responsibility for the clinical care of patients under your service.
2. Collaborate with the Regional Medical Director to ensure the highest standards of clinical services.
3. Conduct timely visits to assigned patients, adhering to established policies and procedures.
4. Maintain compliance with all regulatory and corporate integrity policies.
5. Deliver exceptional care and maintain thorough documentation of patient histories and examinations.
6. Serve as a role model for fellow physicians and healthcare staff, promoting best practices in patient care.
7. Foster relationships with local hospitals and healthcare institutions to facilitate seamless patient transfers and care coordination.
Compliance and Standards:
1. Adhere to all applicable legal requirements and organizational policies.
2. Participate in ongoing training and orientation programs.
3. Report any compliance concerns promptly to management.
Qualifications:
Education and Certification:
- M.D. or D.O. required.
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine preferred, with ongoing certification maintenance.
- Specialization in Geriatrics is advantageous.
- Certification as a Medical Director (CMD) through AMDA is a plus.
Compensation:
Annual salary of $250,000.
