Job Overview

We are seeking a proficient Packhouse Machine Operator to contribute to our operations at Bushel Boy Farms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily operation of packhouse machinery, ensuring a continuous supply of packaging materials and efficient product flow
  • Conduct basic maintenance on machinery
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures
  • Manage inventory and communicate any needs to management
  • Handle produce carefully during sorting, packaging, and lifting tasks
  • Report product issues to supervisors
  • Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment
  • Identify and report safety concerns
  • Comply with hygiene and safety standards
  • Efficiently perform tasks to meet productivity targets
  • Complete additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in a produce or warehouse setting is advantageous
