As a Mobile Forklift Repair Specialist, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of electric, propane, CNG, and diesel lift trucks as well as various customer equipment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and manage repair orders as directed by the Service Manager or designated personnel.
  • Conduct service operations in designated regions.
  • Communicate effectively with office staff and customers regarding necessary repairs and obtain approvals.
  • Diagnose equipment malfunctions through observation and analysis.
  • Provide solutions that align with customer requirements and offer estimates when necessary.
  • Perform repairs, servicing, and reconditioning of equipment as authorized.
  • Collaborate with the Parts department to secure necessary components.
  • Document repair details accurately, including model and serial numbers.
  • Engage with customers to discuss repair needs and completed work.
  • Ensure equipment safety by inspecting and adjusting protective devices.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and cleanliness of service vehicles.
  • Utilize shop tools and equipment effectively.
  • Report safety concerns or incidents to management immediately.
  • Deliver high-quality work efficiently and professionally.
  • Support marketing initiatives to enhance parts, service, and equipment sales.
  • Complete service documentation and submit it to the Service department daily.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of mechanical experience or relevant education.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with internet software.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to interpret safety manuals and operational procedures.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.

Physical Requirements:

This role requires physical stamina, including the ability to lift heavy objects, perform various physical activities, and work in diverse environmental conditions.
