Key Responsibilities
  • Process Initiation: Initiate the can making process by setting up, operating, and maintaining the cupping press, body makers, trimmers, and conveying systems.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Quality Control: Inspect and monitor can specifications, including flange wall thickness, mid-wall thickness, dome depth, and trim can height, to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Documentation: Complete required paperwork and documentation, such as coil logs and check sheets, to track production and quality metrics.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements
  • Working Knowledge: Pneumatics and hydraulics.
  • Basic Knowledge: Electrical components and precision measurement devices (calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators).
