Job Title: PR and Communications Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented PR and Communications Associate to join our team at Miller Ink. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic communications plans across earned, owned, and paid media channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account management: Work closely with clients to create and execute customized communications strategies that meet and exceed their objectives.
  • Writing: Craft high-quality written content, including press releases, social media posts, and blog articles.
  • Digital: Develop and execute social media plans that align with our clients' goals and objectives.
  • Research: Conduct research to support client projects and broader business development initiatives.
  • Media relations: Build and maintain relationships with media contacts to secure press coverage for our clients.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Political Science, Public Policy, Media, or related humanities field.
  • Previous experience in a related field, preferably in PR, communications, or marketing.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong research, writing, and editing skills.
  • Knowledge of digital platforms and digital marketing landscape.
  • Experience with design tools, such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • First-rate interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with clients and colleagues alike.
  • Trend savvy and able to work independently, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Vaccinated and able to work in-person. This is not a remote position.
