Customs Brokerage Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Customs Brokerage Customer Service Representative to join our team at Expeditors. As a key member of our Customs Brokerage department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and timely movement and clearance of freight, while providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Customs Clearance: Ensure accurate and timely customs clearance of cargo to meet customer requirements.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Documentation: Prepare and review customs documentation, including commercial invoices, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with customers, carriers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless logistics operations.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant customs regulations, laws, and company policies.
- Education: 6 months to 1 year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Skills: Good knowledge of customs brokerage processes and systems, customs legislation, and ocean and air documentation processes.
- Language: Fluent in English.
