Your Daily Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Leading teams and providing technical and design expertise focused on water treatment facility operations and processes.
  • Offering technical support for sustainable water supply, treatment, and distribution systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct engineering assessments utilizing supply and finished water quality data.
  • Prepare various reports and assist in the development of design drawings.
  • Create technical specifications and prepare permit submissions for regulatory compliance.
  • Perform quality assurance and quality control reviews of multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Collaborate effectively as part of a project team.
  • Manage multiple tasks across several concurrent projects, ensuring completion within designated timelines and budgets.

What You Need:

  • A Master's degree in Civil, Chemical, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering with Florida PE registration or the ability to obtain it swiftly through reciprocity.
  • Over 15 years of experience in water treatment, chemistry, and process evaluations.
  • Strong technical skills, teamwork capabilities, and effective communication skills are essential.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently to fulfill assignments.
  • Proficient understanding of conventional and advanced water treatment processes, water chemistry, and utility design modeling, including stormwater, water, and wastewater systems.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean motor vehicle and criminal record are required.

What Will Make You Stand Out:

  • A PhD in a relevant Engineering Discipline, such as Civil or Environmental Engineering.
  • Experience with potable reuse systems.
  • Familiarity with wastewater treatment process modeling.
  • Experience in membrane treatment technologies for water and wastewater.
  • Expertise in water quality modeling.
